Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant or LPN to join our team. As a Medical Assistant or LPN, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in various clinical and administrative tasks. Responsibilities:
- Perform vital signs assessment, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiratory rate
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Provide patient education on medication administration and inhalation techniques
- Prepare examination rooms for patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and availability of necessary supplies
- Assist with answering phones, scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out, collecting copays, coordinating referrals, and managing patient flow
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient and effective patient care
Skills:
-3 years experience is preferred but not required
- Proficient in performing vital signs assessment accurately
- Familiarity with basic life support techniques
- Excellent interpersonal skills to provide compassionate patient care
- Ability to administer medications safely and accurately
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
